What Is My Expertise?
Because of my strong interest and experience in working with adults, adolescents, and couples with virtually every imaginable problem, I believe I am better able to be more helpful in any specific situation by drawing upon my familiarity with both sides of any given conflict. My individual work, for example, with a mother bewildered by an angry and defiant son is strengthened by having worked with angry and defiant sons. The diversity of my experience on both sides of the empathy divide, across the full spectrum of problems, has allowed me to develop an emotional comprehension and attunement that would otherwise be beyond my reach.
